Have you had a song so overwhelming that you just couldn't help but cry? This song did that to me. I was just getting out of the restaurant and as I was walking away to go towards my nightly preaching engagement, the words hit me like a ton of bricks. Whenever I want to quote this song on Facebook, I actually spend quite a bit of time selecting because from first word to last, it brings about the power of the cross. At that moment of realization of just how sinful, how dirty, how desperately lost, how stubborn I was (and still am), I broke down at the idea of my Lord and Savior doing everything, including death, to just bring me home. And for weeks this has been on repeat. Still is.
